Title:
DOWN QUILT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3768906
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a down quilt improved for enhancing close adherence characteristics and fitting feel.
SOLUTION: This down quilt 1 is sewn in a pouch-like form by stitching together the peripheries of an outer cloth 3 and a lining cloth 5 and is segmented in a plurality of small sections by a gore tape 7 installed inside the pouch. The width and the length of the lining cloth 5 are 10% to 20% bigger than the width and the length of the outer cloth 3 and these two cloths are stitched together with the lining cloth 5 tucked at the seam. This structure increases the adherence characteristics and heat retention by causing the lining cloth 5 loosely fitted in a convex form and fitting the surplus part of the cloth on the body.
