PURPOSE: To prevent erroneous operation of a drain pump and stably, properly operate the drain pump.

CONSTITUTION: A drain disposal device of an air-conditioner includes a drain pump 25 which discharges drain water W that gathers on a drain pan 24, and a float switch 26 that detects the level of the drain water W and brings the drain pump 25 into operation. The inside of the drain pan 24 is divided by a partition plate 41 into a pump side section A and a float side section B, and the pump side section A communicates with the float side section B through a communication path 42 so that the water in the sections A and B is kept at the same level.
