A sanitary washing device comprises a valve unit V which is connected to a water supply source from without and equipped with the antifreezing drain valve 24, a heat exchanger 4 which is connected to a downstream part of the valve unit V, and a nozzle device 5 for washing a private part, which is connected to a downstream part of the heat exchanger 4. The drain valve 24 is equipped with a strainer 23 formed integrally with a net part 23b for capturing foreign matter, which is composed of a synthetic-resin raw material. The strainer 23 is located in a channel inside the valve unit V.
