To provide a height restriction member for drawers which is made adaptable to cabinets regardless of difference in the installing position of a draining unit thereon and can minimize the article number of a base cabinet when it is packaged with the base cabinet of a modular kitchen.

The height restriction member is provided with the first and second overhung bodies 20 and 30, formed out of a metal wire, with the base end parts of both linked together at an angle of 90°. The length of overhang of the second overhang body 30 is shorter than that of the first overhung body 20. The first and second overhang bodies 20 and 30 are respectively equipped with screw lock parts 24 and 34 respectively having screw insertion slits 20S and 30S for screwing down on a backplate of the drawers while lid holding holes 20H and 30H are formed respectively in them to obliquely hold a water stop lid of the draining unit inserted.
