Abstract:
PURPOSE: To produce a dresser for a grinding wheel which causes reduction of wear of the grinding wheel and enables dressing of the grinding wheel even in a case of a worn grinding wheel.
CONSTITUTION: A dresser for a grinding wheel is formed such that ceramic grains 6 of at least one kind selected from a group consisting of aluminum, silicon carbide, zirconia, and silicon nitride and glass grains 7 are bonded together by means of a resin binder 8. A bond material 3 of a grinding wheel 1 is ground by means of the ceramic grains 6 to expose grinding grain 2 and grinding chips 11 are removed from a grinding wheel surface by means of the glass grains 7.
