PURPOSE: To perform boarding and alighting without getting wet by installing a rainproof cover which is made so as to be automatically accessible in linkage with the opening or closing of a door at time of boarding or alighting to or from an automobile.

CONSTITUTION: A vinyl cover 2 is made so as to be rolled onto a bar body 1 double ends of which are supported via a bearing 3, while this bearing 3 is housed in a twofold cylindrical case 7 together with the vinyl cover 2. Then, this case 7 is attached to the door side, while a tip edge of the vinyl cover 2 drawn out of the case 7 is locked to the upper part of a door opening edge at the body side with a hook 6 with a suction cup. The body 1 energizes the vinyl cover 2 by dint of elastic force in the winding direction at time of door closing by stretching ring rubber 8 as an elastic resetting means across an interval between a hook screwed in both ends of the body and a hook 2 on an inner surface of the case 7.
