PURPOSE: To obtain the title apparatus which is convenient to use by leading out a detection signal by detecting the dripping if a transfusion and receiving the same to inform the start of a drip, the continuation thereof and the finish thereof to display the elapsed time from the start of the drip.
CONSTITUTION: A dripping sensor 2 being a dripping detection means is connected to a signal processor 1 to constitute a drip monitor apparatus 3. The dripping sensor 2 contains an acoustic sensor for detecting the dripping sound of a transfusion in a drip cylinder and a vibration sensor detecting the vibration of the drip cylinder due to a shock at the time of dripping. A jack 10 is constituted in the housing 9 of the signal processor 1 and a detection signal is inputted to said jack 10. A preparatory lamp 12 allowed to light when a power supply switch 11 is closed and putting out lights during a drip period and a drip lamp 13 informing the start, continuation and finish of a drip are arranged. A flow rate display part 15 displaying the amount in a transfusion bag and an elapsed time display part 16 displaying the elapsed time after the start of the drip are provided and a reset button 17 clearing the display contents of both of the flow rate display part 15 and the elapsed time display part 16 is arranged.
