Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent a laminated ceramic piezoelectric unit from polarizing to deteriorate the polarization by providing charge leaking means in parallel with the unit. CONSTITUTION:If the drive of a laminated ceramic piezoelectric unit 2 is stopped when a very high load is applie to the ceramic piezoelectric unit 2 like the case that the unit 2 is used as an injector of a Diesel engine, the pressure varies due to the reduction in the load applied to the unit 2 except the generation of charge due to pyroelectric effect, and a charge is generated to produce a voltage reversely to the polarizing direction even by the piezoelectric effect. In such case, if charge leaking means 3 is provided, the deterioration of polarization can be performed due to the generation of a reverse voltage. Accordingly, even if the unit 2 is used under severe conditions such as an injector of a vehicle, it can be used stably for a long period.
