PURPOSE: To provide a driving circuit for a pulse motor in which power conservation is expedited.

CONSTITUTION: A driving circuit for a pulse motor has a plurality of exciting coils 41 and comprises an applied current controller 5 for controlling exciting currents of the coils 41, a motor current value detector 4 for inputting a signal for operating the controller 5, and a load detector 12 for detecting a load state of the motor. The circuit feeds back a detected result of the detector 12 to the detector 4, controls the current to the coil 41 to a suitable value for a load of the motor, saves supply power and to suppress heat generation of the motor.
