Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of unstable vibration by the structure such that the rotational speed and the amount of cooling liquid in the torque tube are detected and the rotational speed and the amount of cooling liquid are controlled so that the rotation is performed outside the region in which unstable vibration occurs. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of liquid surface detection elements 30 are provided on inner wall 10 of torque tube 5, and a signal proportional to the amount of cooling liquid 1 is inputted to arithmetic unit 32 via liquid surface meter 31. On the other hand, speed detection element 33 detects the rotational speed of rotor 2, and the detected signal is inputted to arithmetic unit 32 via rotation meter 34. Arithmetic unit 32 compares the amount of cooling liquid and the rotational speed, and sends a signal to flow control device 29 so as to prevent the occurrence of unstable oscillation at the rotational speed at this time, and thereby the amount of cooling liquid is varied. Or, the rotational speed may be varied so as to prevent the occurrence of unstable vibration at the amount of cooling liquid at this time.
