PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid vehicle drive device capable of minimizing torque omission during gear change or pre-shift as much as possible, and providing satisfactory drivability.SOLUTION: When a first shift stage is to be upshifted to a second shift stage in a wide open throttle state, the first shift stage is pre-shifted to the first shift stage by two higher stages while increasing a coupling capacity of second disconnect-connect means in an inertia phase after a coupling of first disconnect-connect means is released.
