Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive device capable of suppressing an unusual noise generated from a vibration actuator, a lens barrel and a camera.SOLUTION: A drive device 30 which controls an ultrasonic motor 20 generating drive force by vibrating a vibrator 22 by applying an alternate signal to a piezoelectric element 24 provided in the vibrator 22, includes transformers 41, 51 which connect a direct current power source to primary side coils 41a, 51a and supply voltage to the piezoelectric element 24 from secondary coils 41b, 51b, primary side FETs 42, 52 which repeatedly turn on/off the current flowing in the primary side coils of the transformers, secondary side FETs 43, 53 which repeatedly turn on/off the current flowing in the secondary side coils of the transformers, and a control part 31 which controls on/off of the primary side FETs 42, 52 and the secondary side FETs 43, 53. The control part 31 varies the time of the on-state of the primary side FETs 42, 52 when the ultrasonic motor 20 is not operated or started to drive.
