Abstract:
To provide a drive shaft which can be easily assembled to an automobile while being simple in a structure.SOLUTION: A drive shaft 1 comprises: a slide-type constant velocity universal joint 2 having an outside joint member 3; a rolling bearing 10 fit into a hole part 9 of a stationary-side member 8 of an automobile, and rotatably supporting a shaft part 5 of the outside joint member 3; and a regulation member 20 fit to an external periphery of the shaft part 5 in a movable state in an axial direction, and regulating the movement of the constant velocity universal joint 2 to an outboard side by being engaged with an outer ring 12 of the rolling bearing 10 in the axial direction when being fixed to the stationary-side member 8. A large-diameter part A fit to the regulation member 20 with a fastening margin, and a small-diameter part B approximately arranged at the rolling bearing 10 and having no fastening margin with respect to the regulation member 20 are arranged at a movable region of the regulation member 20 out of the shaft part 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
