Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable synchronized movement of an optical exposure system and a photoreceptor, by controlling a spring clutch in order to selectively carry out connection and interception between photoreceptor drive means and exposure drive means.
CONSTITUTION: The first motor M1, of means for driving a photoreceptor, rotating in the definite direction, and the second motor M2, of means for driving an optical system, rotating in the definite direction, and a spring clutch 100 for connecting the photoreceptor drive means and the optical system drive means are provided. Use of these devices permits connection and interception of the 2 means to be carried out selectively in association with speed change of the second motor M2.
