Abstract:
To provide a driver state estimation device capable of effectively estimating a poor physical condition of a driver.SOLUTION: A driver state estimation device according to the present invention includes: a camera for capturing an image of a traveling environment; a steering sensor; an image analysis part for calculating a yaw angle and/or an offset position of a vehicle on the basis of the captured image; a model estimation part for estimating a driver model on the basis of a traveling state of the vehicle and a steering operation; and a driver state determination part for determining a driver state on the basis of the estimated driver model. The model estimation part estimates the driver model in which the steering operation is determined using a self-position feedback gain multiplied by the yaw angle and/or the offset position and a self-motion feedback gain multiplied by a time differential value of the yaw angle and/or the offset position. The driver state determination part determines the driver state on the basis of the estimated self-position feedback gain.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
