To provide a driving control device of a hybrid vehicle which properly maintains a residual capacity of a battery and suppressing noise of an internal combustion engine and a problem of fuel consumption thereof.
In this driving control device of the hybrid vehicle 1 provided with both an electric motor 2 and an internal combustion engine 3 as a driving source, at least a clutch means 15 which can interrupt a torque transfer from drive wheels 4 to the internal combustion engine 3 is installed. In a first travel state wherein a target vehicle speed by a setting means is larger than a detecting vehicle speed by a detecting means 29 and the speed difference between the target vehicle speed and the detecting vehicle speed is less than a prescribed value, the internal combustion engine 3 is stopped, the torque transfer is interrupted by the clutch means 15 and the drive wheels 4 is driven by only the electric motor 2. In a second travel state wherein the speed difference is equal to or more than the prescribed value, the drive wheels 4 are driven by both the electric motor 2 and the internal combustion engine 3. A generator 17 which charges a battery 20 being a power supply of the electric motor 2 is driven by the internal combustion engine 3. A means 21 for detecting the residual capacity of the battery 20 is installed. When the detecting value 21 of the residual capacity of the battery is less than a prescribed value, the internal combustion engine 3 is driven even in a first travel state.
