Abstract:
To enhance reliability by enabling an enclosed structure of a motor.
In a driving device for a rolling stock in which a rotor 41 to compose a motor is fixed to a circumference of an axle 20, and the axle 20 is formed into a hollow one from one end to another end, a bigger diameter is provided for a hollow part where the rotor 41 is fixed in comparison with other parts and a lid 50 with radiating fins 56 is detachably installed at an end part of the axle. A heat pipe is formed by filling coolant in the hollow part of the axle 20.
