Title:
DRIVING FORCE CONTROL APPARATUS FOR VEHICLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3635961
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce burden to catalyst of an exhaust system without a problem that vehicular behavior becomes unstable, by prohibiting fuel cut of an engine when driver requirement torque is smaller than control torque.
SOLUTION: Engine speed N and a water temperature detection signal TW is read (S101), and based on the N and TW, whether or not fuel cut (F/C) of an engine is required is determined (S102). When the determination is 'NO', TCS requirement torque TT as control requirement torque based on an slip amount and driver requirement torque TD is read (S104), and whether or not the TCS requirement torque TT is larger than the driver requirement torque TD (S105). When the determination is 'NO', the TCS requirement torque TT is substituted into a target torque TC to make fuel cut control prohibiting flag be '0' (S107). Then, a target value SC* of throttle opening and a target value FC* of the number of the fuel cut cylinders are obtained (S108-S112), and then a throttle control signal SC and a fuel cut control signal FC are generated and output (S113).
