PURPOSE: To simplify driving force control systems and improve the stability of automobiles by varying a first set brake pressure value applied by a pressure controller to a second set brake pressure value aiming for automobile stability improvement with a fuzzy brake controller.
CONSTITUTION: This driving force control system using a brake controller of a fuzzy type is provided with an antilock controller for comparing decision slip values λi of the wheels of an automobile 4 with a predetermined slip value λis to determine a first set brake pressure value Pis for the wheels. The first set brake pressure value Pis is applied by a pressure controller 7. In order to improve the stability of the automobile 4, the fuzzy brake controller converts the first set brake pressure value Pis into a second set brake pressure value P'is=(Pis+ΔPis) by using decision variables of the steering angle δ and yawing speed W of the automobile 4.
