Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent increase in the opening degrees of a throttle even if an N range is set during control for realizing a requested driving force by the combination of an optimal engine revolting speed and an engine output.
SOLUTION: A requested horse power HPs is obtained from a requested driving force Ts and an axle rotational speed Ns calculated from an accelerator depressing amount APS and a car speed VSP, and a target engine output Te* generating this HPs at a minimum fuel cost and a transmission target input rotational speed Npri* are calculated based on an engine characteristic curve. A neutral engine output target value TeH reduced with the increase of an engine revolting speed Ne is calculated for each APS, and in an N range, TeH is used for the operation of a target throttle opening degree TVO* instead of Te*. Thus, even if Ne is increased caused by the N range during driving force control for realizing Ts at a minimum fuel cost, by output control for realizing TeH, the unlimited increase of the opening degree of the throttle is prevented.
