Abstract:
PURPOSE:To suppress rotation torque of wheels to a low level and prevent an abrupt start by making it possible to change automatically to low torque, in other words, a speed change stage of low reduction gear ratio even if an apparatus to control a throttle valve is in an abnormal conditions when an automobile starts. CONSTITUTION:A speed change controlling circuit 1 controls a speed change gear 9 to change to a speed change stage of a low reduction gear ratio with increasing a car speed owing to an out-put of a car speed sensor 7 in driving gear to transmit a driving power of a combustion engine to wheels through the speed change gear 9. Switching to a speed change stage of a low reduction gear ratio is let be carried out in the case when a signal to enlarge the opened degree of a throttle is put out from a throttle valve driving circuit 3 and if the opened degree of the throttle valve is detected to be larger than a prescribed value by a throttle opened degree sensor 5 and the car speed is less than a prescribed speed, or when the speed change gear 9 is detected to be in connected conditions by an out-put from a speed change stage detector switch 6 and if no control is detected by an out-put from a brake switch 8.
