Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemical retainer for vaporizable chemicals at normal temperature, with the object of conducting insecticide, insect control (repellence), harmful insect growth control, etc., capable of continuously and efficiently releasing an active principle at normal temperature into the air and excellent in stability and convenience, and to provide a method and an equipment for vaporizable chemicals using the same retainer.
SOLUTION: This retainer is constituted by a three-dimensional structure 1 having many cells 3 assembled with cellular walls 2 having a honeycomb-like shape, a grid-like shape, a reticulate shape, etc., made of paper, nonwoven fabric, film, etc., for retaining an active principle, and having a multiple structure with at least two internal and external layers 4, 5 mutually separated at a preferred interval of distance, pref. having a space 7 inside the structure 1. The retainer is foldable and may have an arbitrary three-dimensional shape such as a sphere, a column, a pyramid, etc. It is possible to move the structure 1 itself or to promote the vaporization of an active principle by forced-draft with a fan disposed inside the space 7.
