To provide a carrier capable of specifically delivering a substance such as a drug to an extracellular matrix producing cell of the lung, a pulmonary fibrosis treating agent to use the carrier, and a method for the treatment of pulmonary fibrosis.

Provided are a carrier for delivering a substance for the extracellular matrix producing cell of the lung and containing a retinoid, and a treating agent for pulmonary fibrosis obtained by using the carrier. The retinoid is preferably a retinol and has a liposome form.
