Abstract:

PURPOSE: To correct the relative positional shift of printing dots, by detecting the flight time of an ink droplet required before said ink droplet reaches a body to be recorded after charging with respect to each noise and controlling the generation timing of charge voltage to the ink droplet corresponding to each noise.

CONSTITUTION: The flight time of an ink droplet is detected with respect to each head by a detection electrode 14, a detection circuit 15 and a control circuit 13 and printing timing is relatively controlled to make the arrival time of the ink droplet to a recording surface same. When a printing information signal is inputted to a charge circuit 12, predetermined voltage is generated from the charge circuit 12 and the ink droplet is charged to impinge against a detection electrode 14 and charge is released to the input terminal of the detection circuit 15 through a signal wire. The released charge is obtained as a voltage signal by a shield line capacity C and an input resistor R1 while the voltage signal is amplified by an amplifying circuit of OP2 through a buffer circuit of OP1 to be compared with reference voltage Vref by a comparing circuit of OP3. The comparing signal is inputted to a monomultivibrator to be shaped to a signal having a predetermined width and the shaped signal is inputted to a control part 13M/M and an ink droplet flight time is detected by a control part.
