Abstract:
To provide a drum type washing machine ensuring that a lid (an outer lid) can be opened and closed better.
A plurality of bar members 31A extending in a lateral direction are connected to be parallel with one another by a flexible member to compose the outer lid 31 bendable between the respective bar members 31A. The outer lid 31 is slidable with its right and left side edges being fitted along the side edges of an opening 4 of a case 2.
