PURPOSE: To perform an air blowing excellent in stimulating effect to hair and head skin without loosing the hair drying or styling function.

CONSTITUTION: A switching element 44 is interposed in series to a heater 34, and a control signal S2 outputted from a control circuit 45 is inputted to its control end 46 to regulate the ON-OFF period of the switching element 44. The control circuit 45 detects the air blowing temperature by a temperature detecting element 51 arranged close to the heater 34 and a temperature detecting circuit 55, and starts a timer circuit 56 according to the detected output of the upper or lower limit temperature, whereby the current-carrying state to the heater 34 is controlled.
