To provide a dryer improved in drying efficiency of a drying object by preventing the supplied drying object from sticking in a lump to agitation blades.
The dryer comprises a fixed body 2 having cylindrical bodies 13 provided with sidewalls, at both ends, and a rotating shaft 3 having a plurality of agitation blades 22 continuously provided axially in the cylindrical body 13, and rotatably inserted through the fixed body 2. The fixed body 2 is provided with fixed plates 14 projected from the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical body 13, between the agitation blade 22A and the sidewall 11, and the drying object supplied into the cylindrical body 13 is agitated and dried while being transferred axially in the rotating body 3.
