PURPOSE: To provide a drying and processing device capable of performing a clean and sanitary drying processing under a microwave drying system and further capable of performing a positive sensing of completion time of drying operation.
CONSTITUTION: A drying and processing device is comprised of two temperature sensors 17A and B18 for use in detecting the temperature of water vapor 5 generated from a dried item 1. A micro-wave oscillator 9 is controlled for its ON or OFF state in such a way as the temperature of the temperature sensor A17 near the dried item 1 will not be higher than a predetermined temperature and then the drying processing is finished when the increased temperature value of the temperature sensor B18 far from the dried item 1 is lower than the predetermined temperature.
