To provide a dual band antenna from which excellent sensitivity can be expected in a horizontal direction even in either of two kinds of high / low frequency bands.
The dual band antenna 10 is provided with: a first radiation conductor plate 12 placed in parallel with a ground conductor 11; a feeding conductor plate 13 downwardly extended from the first radiation conductor plate 12; a connection conductor plate 14 for short-circuiting the first radiation conductor plate 12 to the ground conductor 11; a second radiation conductor plate 15 having a nearly chevron-shaped bent elastic deformation section 15a and stood upright under the first radiation conductor plate 12; and a synthetic resin made adjustment screw 16 screwed to the first radiation conductor plate 12 and downwardly pressing an upper end of the second radiation conductor plate 15. The first radiation conductor plate 12 is resonated with a first frequency and the second radiation conductor plate 15 is resonated with a second frequency higher than the first frequency. Further, the second radiation conductor plate 15 is structured such that the interval with respect to the first radiation conductor plate 12 can be changed.
