Abstract:
To provide a broadband antenna which simultaneously covers two frequency bands or to provide an antenna whose frequency band is adjustable.
The dual band plane antenna comprises at least one closed shape slot that is formed on a printed circuit board having a circumference part whose length is equal to kλf and two feeder lines for feeding to the slot through two accesses whose separation is (2m+1)λf/4, where λf is a waveguide path length of the slot, and k and m are an integer greater than zero. The slot has a means for correcting an operation frequency and one of the feeder lines is provided in the above means. This invention is especially applicable to an antenna used for a domestic wireless network (standard: IEEE802-11a or Hyperlan2).
