To provide a dust collector which has a good operability for portable use.

An exhaust outlet 4 to which a dust bag 7 can be attached is made on the right side of a body 2 of a dust collector 1. On the left side of it, an attachment section of a battery pack 7 is made. On the upper face of it, a handle 9 for gripping is made. The battery pack 7 is placed on the other side of the dust bag 7 having the body 2 in between from a front view. In addition, a boss 25 and a pin are made on the body 2 for hooking a belt. A stationary face 2a is formed so that it can be placed with the dust bag 6 and the battery pack 7 attached to the bottom of the body 2. Its user can select portable use with which the body 2 is carried with the handle 9 or a belt and stationary use with which the body 2 is placed on a floor and the like.
