To provide a new dynamic damper for vehicle suspension members that can reduce the mass of a damper mass, even if the spring constant of an elastic support member is not reduced while damper functions are retained at an equivalent level or higher.
The dynamic damper 14 for suspension members comprises a stiff mounting member 18; a damper mass 20; and an elastic support member 20 for elastically supporting the damper mass 20. Then, the damper mass 20 is formed in a split configuration of a plurality of mass blocks 20-1, 20-2, 20-3 in a direction of the forward and backward of the vehicles. Respective mass blocks 20-1, 20-2, 20-3 are connected so that they can be connected in series in the forward/backward direction by elastic connecting members 26-1, 26-2. Respective mass blocks 20-1, 20-2, 20-3 can be separately vibrated in the upper and lower directions of the vehicles by the shear elastic deformation of the elastic connecting members 26-1, 26-2.
