To form a dynamic-pressure bearing device compact and thin while securing precision of a reel-shaped shaft body.
A large diameter part 2b is formed at a lower end of a center pin 2 which is caulked with a base 1 at a lower part. A shaft 3 is engaged and fixed in a small diameter part 2c of the center pin 2. A top ring 4 is engaged and fixed to hold the shaft 3 with the large diameter part 2a. The reel-shaped shaft body 5 is composed of the center pin 2, the shaft 3, and the top ring 4. Thrust direction dynamic pressure generating grooves 6 are formed in both end surfaces of the shaft 3. Radial direction dynamic pressure generating grooves 7 are formed in a side surface. Thrust plates 8 are disposed on both end surfaces of the shaft 3 through a micro-gap. Sleeves 9 are disposed on the side surface of the shaft 3 through micro-gaps. A bearing member 10 is composed of both thrust plates 8 and the sleeves 9. An outer circumferential surface 10a is held by hubs 13 in the thrust direction.
