Abstract:

To increase the dynamic pressure even when a dynamic pressure groove is formed in a rotary shaft.

Fluid such as lubricating oil is led from an introduction part 22 of a dynamic pressure groove 21 formed in a surface of a shaft 15 as the shaft 15 is rotated. The fluid is easily led into a base end part of a formed section 23, and the dimension of a termination part of the formed section 23 is smaller than the dimension of the base end width. Therefore, larger wedge effect can be obtained at the termination part of the formed section 23. The dynamic pressure can be increased though the dynamic pressure groove 21 is formed in the surface of the shaft 15.
