To provide an ear set including a microphone and a receiver, the ear set being capable of efficiently performing selective collection of voices of a wearer even when being made compact.
The ear set 10 is configured in such a way that a first casing 22 which houses the microphone 32 of the ear set is disposed approximately along a face 6 of the wearer. A non-oriented microphone is used as the microphone 32 and in a portion near a back wall 22a in a lower end of the first casing 22, a sound collection opening 22c which is opened downward is formed. Thus, in voices uttered from the wearer, voices sneaked from the mouth of the wearer to the rear side are collected by the microphone 32 via the sound collection opening 22c. The sound collection opening 22c is opened approximately in parallel with the face 6 in the vicinity of the face 6, so that voices transmitted along the face 6 as surface waves are efficiently collected and even outdoors, the sound collection is not almost affected by wind noise.
