Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the stable grounding state and to improve the assembly workability while reducing the number of parts.
CONSTITUTION: Two types of earth wires 6a and 7a with different length are integrally installed on one end of a spring 8. Two types of earth wires 6b and 7b with different length are integrally installed on the other end of the spring. Rings 4 at the tip of each earth wire are engaged with a lug washer 2 provided on each corner of a cathode-ray tube 1. Thus, the tension acting on respective earth wires 6a, 6b, 7a, and 7b keeps balance and the circumference of the neck at the back of a cathode-ray tube is surrounded with the earth wires 6a, 6b, 7a and 7b attached.
