To provide an earthquake prediction device using a receiver of electromagnetic wave.
In the earthquake prediction device, many electromagnetic wave receivers are installed on the ground in a network shape with a certain interval. Data from each receiver is collected in one place in real time and processed by a computer, the signal intensity of radio wave from the receiver is continuously and graphically displayed on a map with the passage of time and is compared. The features of images such as shape, intensity, occurrence frequency, and gradient of signal intensity are investigated, it is identified whether it is a noise released from the ground or a signal as a sign of an earthquake having come from the underground, and the depth of the underground radio source and the intensity are investigated. Thus, the focus position, depth, occurrence time, and magnitude of the earthquake are automatically predicted.
