Title:
EARTHQUAKE RESISTANT SLEEVE CONNECTED TO MANHOLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3680998
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthquake resistant sleeve capable of making a smooth stream of waste-water flow inside a pipe, mounting an earthquake resistant sleeve in water-tight and the use thereof for a long period by making the pipe coincide with the level of both inner circumferential surfaces of a tube joint and applying a thermosetting resin to a joint.
SOLUTION: In the earthquake resistant pipe sleeve equipped with the tube joint mounted on the inside of the pipe 1 connected to a manhole 2, a rubber cylinder 4 having a ring-like sealing compound 5 on both end sides of the circumference is stored in a diameter widening section 3 formed in the inner circumferential surface of the pipe, a steel strip 6 cylindrically wound on the inner circumference of the rubber cylinder is placed, the thermosetting resin 7 is wound on the inner circumferential surface, the thermosetting resin is pressurized to harden, and the inner circumferential surface of a resin layer formed thereby is made to coincide with the inner circumferential surface.
