Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the point at issue that aseismicity expanding and contracting in both directions is insufficient in a pipeline pushed in and laid by driving force from a rear.
SOLUTION: The pipe joint in which a ring 3 for transmitting driving force annularly formed by alternately laminating decomposing sheets 31 and water absorbing sheets 32 is interposed between a pushing flange 11 externally faced to the inserting port 1 of a joined-together pipe 10A and the side end face 21 of the opening section of the socket 2 of another pipe 10B, the ring 3 transmits driving force from a rear and the pipeline is formed, the decomposing sheet 31 of the ring 3 for transmitting driving force directly receives hydrolysis and biodegradation action by peripheral environment and loses compressive strength after the completion of pipe jacking, and an extensible annular decomposing layer R is formed to the outer circumferential surface of the joint is used. Biodegrading plastics, particularly a polylactic acid also has high compressive strength and a decomposition reaction is promoted quickly in an alkaline atmosphere as the decomposing sheet, and the water absorption action of the water absorbing sheet such as paper, a nonwoven fabric or the like assists the decomposition action.
