Title:
EAVES TROUGH JOINT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3203388
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the rainwater in an eaves trough from flowing into a verge trough by providing a cut-off wall for preventing rainwater from flowing down toward a verge trough inside a horizontal fitting section.
SOLUTION: An eaves trough 1 is mounted along the nearly horizontal eaves and a verge trough 2 is mounted along a verge, which is located in the side section of a roof. In the next step, an eaves fitting 3 is formed as a horizontal fitting section and inclined fitting section, and a cut-off wall is provided in the horizontal fitting section. When it rains, the rainwater in the eaves trough 1 does not flow down in the side of a verge trough 2 due to the cut-off wall, but flows along the eaves trough 1. Therefore, there is no possibilities of flying out of rainwater from the side downstream of the verge trough 2. When a cut-off wall is provided for covering the whole of the effective flow water cross section of the horizontal fitting section, rainwater is more surely prevented from flowing down in the side of the verge trough 2. This constitution serves to reduce the possibilities of flying out of rainwater from the eaves trough 1 located under the verge tough 2.
