Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enhance the reliability of an eddy detector by providing the detector with only the function of detecting and transferring vibration caused by eddy fluctuating pressure, and detecting transferred vibration using a detachable sensor of selective detection method adapted for the purpose, and providing the detector with excellent fatigue intensity.
CONSTITUTION: An eddy generator 3 is affixed to a main body 1 and a recessed portion 4 is provided along the direction of the axis of the eddy generator 3 and eddy fluctuating pressure is introduced into the recessed portion 4 from pressure introducing openings 5, 5. A vibrating pipe 6 comprising a pipe body 7 having one end closed and a flange portion 8 has its pipe body 7 inserted into the recessed portion and fixed at one side to the inside of the recessed portion and a vibration transfer rod 9 having one end 9a fixed by a fixing plate 10 and being elastically supported near a supporting point 0 by a plate spring 11 is disposed within the vibrating pipe 6, and displacement corresponding to eddy fluctuation is detected by a sensor 14 while the supporting point 0 of a free end 9b serves as a reference.
