PURPOSE: To select whether the image surface of a sheet is reversed at the position of a paper ejecting tray to sent the sheet or not, and to eject the paper on the same tray even if either of them is selected.
CONSTITUTION: A changeover pawl 37b switching the carrying path of the sheet is provided on the paper ejecting tray 37. When the paper ejecting is carried out in such a manner that the image surface of the sheet 21 is turned upward, the sheet 21 passes under the changeover switch 37b, and is ejected, and when the paper ejecting is carried out in such a manner that the image surface of the sheet 21 is turned downward, the sheet 21 passes on the changeover switch 37b and is ejected through a reverse guide 33, so that switching whether the image surface of the sheet 21 is turned upward or downward, is carried out, and the paper ejecting can be carried out on the same paper ejecting tray 37. As a paper ejecting tray, only one paper ejecting tray 37 is used, and when the paper ejecting is carried out in such a manner that the image surface is turned downward, as well, the sheet is ejected on the paper ejecting tray from the upper part of the paper ejecting tray 37, so that an image can be confirmed.
