Abstract:
A d.c.-powered model railroad systems comprises an electromagnetic actuator (4) for throwing the points (1), insulating joints (3) between the main and branch line track portions of the points and the legs of a loop 2, and a polarity-reversing switch (13), which is operable in response to the travel of a vehicle over switch 17 or 18. The polarity-reversing switch (13) is connected to the electromagnetic actuator (4) for throwing the points.
