Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an electric connector structure simplifying a grounding structure (grounding connection structure) for the shield wire of an electric wire, allowing an easy handling work and having enough precautions against an electromagnetic wave.
CONSTITUTION: This structure has a male connector 1 and a female connector, and a male terminal unit 5 holding a male terminal 20 on a terminal shielding member connected to the shield wire 26 of an electrical wire 25 via an insulation is housed within the connector housing 3 of the male connector 1 mounted on a panel 50 having electrical conductivity. At the same time, the external side of the housing 3 at the position of the section of the unit 5 connected to the shield wire 26 of the wire 25 is covered with a shield member 4, and this shield member 4 is maintained electrically continuous to the terminal shield member. Also, the shield member 4 is short circuited to the panel 50.
