Abstract:
To provide an electric drive unit of a vehicle which enables the quick circulation of oil to a motor at a cold time of the vehicle by a simple structure.SOLUTION: An electric drive unit of a vehicle has an AC motor 5 which is carried with an alternate current from an electricity-carrying part 21, and oil 8 in an oil pan 7 circulates in each part of the AC motor. The electric drive unit has: an immersion conductive part 33 in which a part of a conductive wire reaching a stator coil 11a of the AC motor from the electricity-carrying part, or a part of the stator coil of the AC motor is immersed in the oil in the oil pan; a specific current supply part 35 which can supply a specific current component not contributing to the stator coil of the AC motor by decomposing an alternate current which is carried to the AC motor; and a control part 25 for carrying the specific current component to the AC motor from the specific current supply part at a cold time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
