A load current supplied from a distribution panel 10 provided within an electric energy-monitoring system to a load system is measured by a measuring terminal device, and information of the load current (or electric energy) is transmitted to a measuring modem 9. The measuring modem 9 acquires the information of the electric energy, communicates with a communication modem 4M of a master unit via a telephone line according to a multiplexing system and provides the information of the electric energy to a personal computer connected to a communication modem 4S of another slave unit.
