Title:
ELECTRIC FENDER MIRROR WITH DEAD ANGLE PREVENTING FUNCTION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2000289526
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To enable a vehicle driving on a road having two and more lanes to safely change a lane without causing accidents.

This device is composed of a blinker lever electrically connected with a fender mirror. When a driver wants to move to a right lane, the driver presses down the blinker lever to flash on and off a right blinker, and then presses down the blinker lever still more. By that operation, the angle of a mirror surface of a right electric fender mirror is changed to reflect a spot where usually is hidden from view of the driver, so that the driver can change lanes after checking safety. When the driver wants to move a left lane, the driver presses up the blinker lever in the same way.
