Abstract:
The device has an electric motor with no collector or slip ring in a housing (2) for producing a torque with motor control electronics (3) for controlling the revolution rate. A revolution rate dependent coupling (5) is arranged in the force transfer path from the electric motor (4) to a gearbox (6) for transferring the torque. Independent claims are also included for the following: a method of limiting unnecessarily high twisting of the housing in the event of the tool jamming.
