Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric locomotive capable of easily adjusting a weight balance of a vehicle body.SOLUTION: An electric locomotive according to an embodiment comprises: a driving cab; a machine room; an equipment disposition part; a vent hole; an air reservoir; an exhaust port; and a blower fan. The equipment disposition part is provided in the machine room. In the equipment disposition part, a plurality of pillars are provided upright from a floor plate. The vent hole is provided in a sidewall of a vehicle body. The vent hole communicates an interior of the machine room with an exterior thereof. The air reservoir is provided on a ceiling wall of the vehicle body. The air reservoir is open to an interior of the vehicle body. The exhaust port communicates an interior of the air reservoir with an exterior thereof. The blower fan is attached to the ceiling wall in the machine room. The equipment disposition part is provided distanced from two sidewalls of the vehicle body and a wall of the other end side in a vehicle travel direction. A suspension frame is put on the pillars. Electrical equipment is suspended from the suspension frame. An adjustment load is disposed between the floor plate and the electrical equipment.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
