To reduce cost of a motor, to improve a motor output, and moreover to stably fit a magnet on the inner wall of a case.
In the motor 10, an elastic member 20 is formed of a plate-like body extending along the direction of a rotating shaft in a U shape. Accordingly, the elastic member 20 can be reduced in its length compared with when using the elastic member composed of the plate-like body bent in U-shape. Therefore, the material cost of the elastic member 20 can be saved, resulting in reducing the manufacturing cost of the motor 10. Further, the length in a pair of magnets 14A, 14B can be made longer in the peripheral direction and the high motor output can be expected (small size and high output can be obtained), because the elastic member 20 is reduced in size in the peripheral direction. Moreover, an energizing force is applied in a balanced manner (uniformly along the direction of the rotating shaft) to a pair of magnets 14A, 14B adjacent to each other in the peripheral direction by alternately arranged joints 20C and corner portions 20D. Accordingly, a pair of magnets 14A, 14B can be stably fitted to the inner wall of the case 12.
